Homicide Detective wanted Zimmerman Thrown in Jail From the Start

When George Zimmerman killed the completely innocent and unarmed Trayvon Martin, the head detective on the case actually wanted to "slap" the manslaughter charges on Zimmerman from the start of the investigation.  Trayvon's parents showed much grief when interviewed on Tuesday.  When Mr.Martin was asked what he would say to Zimmerman he added "..why did he have to take my son's life?"  Also a New Orleans cop who shot an innocent 20 year old black man was suspended because he said that Trayvon Martin deserved to die.

The theme of this article is that while George Zimmerman still hasn't ben brought to justice for what he has done, the head detective on the case said that he wanted to put the manslaughter charges on Zimmerman from the start of the investigation.  The article says "In an affidavit taken the night of the Feb. 26 killing, Serino stated he was unconvinced by Zimmerman’s version of events in which he claimed self-defense, the network reported."  So Detective Serino didn't believe the claims to self defense that Zimmerman made.  Serino wanted to quickly put Zimmerman behind bars, but the State Attorney's office shot his request down because they said they didn't have enough evidence yet.

I think that it is awful that the State Attorney's office shot down Head Detective Serino's request to put Trayvon Martin's killer behind bars.  Zimmerman deserves to go to jail and stay there for a very long time.  I hope that he is caught and convicted very soon so Trayvon can finally have justice for what was done to him.  R.I.P. Trayvon Martin.
